My Fellow Citizens...

IT'S DONE!

Obama has officially been sworn in, and all 15 TV stations that showed the Inauguration have gone back to regular programming (with maybe the exception of NBC or ABC?)

Ok, straight up, Obama's speech got me pumped. I have so much trouble keeping an attention span to watch it, and I admit, I zoned out at some points, but it still was a very rousing speech. It was great how he pointed out that yes, we obviously have a list of troubles in the country, but no, he was not going to change them in a short amount of time. He said it will take time, but, in the reassuring hopeful way that is Obama, the problems will be solved.

Anyone else catch the "let's put science back in it's place"? Maybe I heard it out of context (I already admitted to zoning out) or maybe I'm just thinking of the wrong thing. Thoughts on that line- discuss!

Another one of my favorite parts had to be Rev. Lowery's rhyme with different races. I can't find it on the internet yet, but if anyone finds it can you post it? It was great.

So my fellow Americans, and my fellow companions in the world who don't live in America, what are your thoughts on the Inauguration of our 44th President?
